Baring Life and Lifestyle in the Non-place
Publication Design
This publication, Being Life and Lifestyle in the Non-place, explores the visual representation of dehumanized environments through intentional image treatments. All photographs have been rendered in grayscale to evoke a sense of emotional distance and detachment. Two distinct approaches were used: cropped rectangular sections that abstract the context, and painted overlays that obscure human faces and figures. Both methods reinforce the concept of Blank Space—spaces stripped of identity, presence, and human life.
